MORI IMPIANTI ENOLOGICI DCO filters are the latest generation kieselguhr filters geared towards production companies that used to struggle with finding kieselguhr filters that suited their needs. 

Classic filters mainly have with large filtering surfaces, which were mainly suited to the treatment of large batches of wines due to time, labour and filtration costs

With the DCO series, we want to provide professional quality equipment to small and medium producers, without losing sight of the functional qualities of large kieselguhr filtration systems.

We have tried to improve the preparation and management of filtration and increase the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitising.

In view of the above, we have introduced the DCO series on the market which boast practicality and efficiency through a system of horizontally-placed discs.

The horizontal arrangement of the plates allows filtration to be stopped at any time without the panels detaching from the plates, this can also occur accidentally after a drop in electrical voltage and which leads to a drop in pressure inside the filtration bell and the detachment of the kieselguhr filters from the surface of the disc.

The entire filter body and its bell can also be tilted, so the plates can be cleaned with a simple, non-pressure, jet of water.

The standard equipment also includes a recovery system for the liquid remaining inside the filtration bell using a lower plate, which keeps the filter panel whole.
